I get a great deal of requests for sheet music relating to Harry Warren songs.  Below is more information that should help you in your decisions to purchase either originals or photocopies of songs.

Q: What is available for purchase in terms of photocopies?
A: Any piece of music that is featured in "The Songs" section of this web site.

Q: I want an original issue of a song.  Can you provide it?
A: I can provide originals of select songs.  I have a listing of what is currently available on my "For Sale" page.  If the piece you're looking for does not appear there, then I cannot offer an original at this time.  However, you can purchase a photocopy of just about anything (see above question).

Q: Can you provide special instrument transposition versions of a given song?
A: Yes, I can.  I can transpose song melodies to any key for instrumentation, as needed.  Lyrics are included with all orders of this nature.  Usually, only the chorus of a song is provided, since very few performers use the introductory verse.

Q: I notice that you have orchestrations listed on your "My Collection" page.  Can I get copies of those?
A: Unfortunately, many of these orchestrations are not complete and there is no guarantee that all instrument parts would be included, so I do not usually offer to make copies of orchestrations.  However, I have been getting more and more requests for copies of some of these, and I have finally decided on a pricing scheme on how to handle these.  The orchestrations are provided on an "as is" basis, as is the case with regular sheet music orders, with a special note that there may be considerable writing or wear on some or all parts of a song in these band charts, especially the ones that were actually used by their original owners.  Pricing is started off by a single RMF fee of $15.00, and each part from the band edition is then charged as if it were a single piece of sheet music, depending on whether you go the PDF route or the mailed paper copy route.  MIDI files do not exist for these stock arrangements yet, but I do have that on my "to do" list for "at some point."  But again, please realize that some of the band arrangements may be missing one or more parts, so this would make the MIDI process more difficult.

Q: What information do you need for me to submit to you initially when I make my order?
A: I need three things.  Please review the rest of this page and "The Songs" page to aid in figuring some of this information out.  The three items I need for ALL orders are:

1. The desired song titles in alphabetical order as they appear on "The Songs" or "For Sale" page, including which version or versions you desire of each song (if more than one version is available).  Paper photocopies and PDF copies will NOT be made for any non-Harry Warren originals listed on the "For Sale" page.

2. The payment method you desire to pay with.  This must be listed below in the Payment Options section for your location.  In no case will I directly accept a credit card number/name/expiry for purchases.  All credit card purchases MUST be made through PayPal.

3. The delivery method you would prefer (physical mailing or online PDF).  If requesting a physical mailing, please also include your full mailing address.  If you are ordering an original issue from the "For Sale" page, you can skip this third item.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

Q: What are the methods of delivery of copies?
A: For copies, I have two methods of delivery.  Both are available to all visitors.

• Online PDF (Recommended) - This is best when the need for a given song or songs is more urgent.  Sheet music cover images are NOT provided with these files unless requested and an extra fee is paid.  The PDF file must be opened using the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free software that can be obtained from HERE.  The PDF files are usually posted on a private page on this web server within 24-48 hours of receipt of payment.  Do note that the file will only be available for a limited amount time.  Additionally, to provide order security, all PDF files are password-protected.  No PDF files will be e-mailed.  You are responsible for having the required software installed and functioning properly on your system.  I can provide limited support, but refunds will not be granted once the order access page counter reaches "1" or higher.  To see a sample Order Fulfillment Page with a PDF file which you can test with, please click here.

• Physical Mailing (Cheaper) - This is the most popular method, mainly because it is very cheap.  A black-and-white sheet music cover image is provided with these copies when covers exist or are present in the collection.  Color copies of sheet music covers are available for an extra fee.  I mail all music via standard First Class mailing within the USA and usually via airmail to foreign countries, unless otherwise specified.

Q: How do I order something?
A: Please use the "Contact Me" page to write any comments and/or inquiries/orders to me.  If you are requesting multiple songs, please submit your order with the titles in alphabetical order, as the songs are listed on "The Songs" page.  If multiple versions of a song are listed on "The Songs" page, please specify which version you would like to receive (multiple versions can be purchased, but costs are "per song, per version").  If ordering one or more of the originals listed on the "For Sale" page, please specify that you are ordering the original.  If you have questions, please ask them within your order or within subsequent e-mails before you send payment.

Q: Where do I send my payment to?
A: I will provide a mailing address when I respond to your request.  If paying via PayPal, DO NOT send payment before I write to you and give you the actual total due.  Once I send a total due, you can initiate your payment via any of the donation buttons on this web site.

Q: I have a total due from you and want to pay via PayPal, but I cannot find the PayPal Donation buttons you are referring to.
A: The buttons are strewn across many of the more important/more visited pages on this web site, like "The Songs," "Harry Who?" "About Me," etc.  A button is also provided below.

Q: When will I receive my music order?
A: If you order music copies and choose PDF delivery, in most cases, you should be given access to print the PDF within 24-48 hours.  If you are ordering a large quantity of music, the time frame may be increased.  If you choose physical mailing, I am typically able to give those orders a 24-48 hour turnaround after receipt and/or clearing of payment with the bank.

Q: If I get the music and later decide I don't want it or it is not what I expected, can I get a refund?
A: Full opportunities to listen to the music printed on the song sheet(s) you would be receiving are provided at this web site, so I cannot provide refunds for sheet music photocopies.  For original issue sheets, I will inform you of the condition of the sheets if I am asked about it.  Please ask questions prior to your purchase.  All sales are final unless I have mis-represented something or sent the wrong material.  Hasn't happened yet, but just throwing that caveat in there just in case.

Q: Are there waiting periods for personal checks to clear?
A: Generally, no.  However, if the amount is above $50 OR I otherwise have reason to be concerned about a check's clearing (underage buyer, low check number, etc.), I may institute a 7-business-day wait for the check to clear with the bank.  If you are underage or know you have a low check number, I would suggest either sending a money order or having a parent or other individual prepare a check for this.  You can also send cash concealed in an envelope, but this is risky, and I do not highly recommend the cash option unless you are an international buyer.  International checks drawn on international banks WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Q: Can I return copies that I errantly requested or no longer want for a refund?
A: No.  All purchases are final once either a PDF file is provided (once the hit counter on the file itself goes to 1 or higher) or the music is put in the mail to you.  No refunds will be made unless the wrong music title was provided (as in a mixed order).  If the song provided is not the song you thought it was, ample opportunity has been provided through "The Songs" section of this site to allow you to discern whether it is the same song you desire.  Also, if PDF files are not viewable on your system (due to things beyond my control), there are no refunds, and if a physical mailing is requested afterward, a full separate payment is required for the physical copy(ies) plus any applicable shipping costs.  No previous payment for music, unless an overage was sent, will be applied toward this second transaction.  Be informed that much of the music I house is of varying quality.  Most of it is professionally printed and engraved.  The rest could be hand-written piano scores done by a studio copyist or even in Harry's own scrawl.  Age and storage in the past beyond my control can take its toll on original paper matter, so quality can sometimes be an issue.  However, if you absolutely cannot read something due to an issue with my scanning, I will be glad to rescan the music pages again and provide the file again at no additional charge.

Q: I am under-age and do not have a bank account, but I would still like to purchase sheet music.  How do I do this?
A: I would recommend that you have a parent or guardian write a personal check and have them send it to me on your behalf.  You can also go to most large stores and purchase money orders and then mail that out to me.  Cash can also be concealed in an envelope and mailed, but send cash at your own risk.  If it gets lost or stolen, I am not responsible.  I run an honest ship here...if I receive it, you will receive exactly what you ordered.

Q: I need a song tomorrow or within a few days!  Can you send it to me via PDF (or Express Mail) and I pay you later?
A: No.  Payment MUST be received prior to a copy being made or me scanning the music pages and making a PDF.  I highly suggest that you secure a PayPal account and send your payment via that (or you can Express Mail the payment to me via snail mail).  I do reserve the right to hold off copying/mailing for 7 business days if payments are sent from Unverified PayPal users or payments made via eChecks until those checks clear through PayPal.

Q: Do you offer any other special services?
A: I had a test-drive record (78, 45, 33rpm) to CD service going for a short time, but I had no takers on this, and at present, I am only able to focus on sheet music and information requests.  More services and information, and hopefully a better song ordering page will be made available online by the end of 2008.

Q: Where is my receipt?
A: I do not issue receipts with any requests.  I run this site as a hobby, not as a business.
